About the Performers:

Kirsti Kuusk and Pavel Nersessian are currently based in Boston, but they have the US, Europe and rest of the world as their workplace. They are both graduates of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory where Pavel studied with Prof. Sergey Dorensky and Kirsti with Professors Elizaveta Gilels , M. Glezarova and N. Boyarsky.

Pavel Nersessian is the 1st Prize winner of the CPA Dublin International Piano Competition. He also won prizes in the Beethoven Competition in Vienna, the Paloma O’Shea Competition in Santander and the Tokyo Competition. He has recorded numerous discs and is known for his collaboration with other renowned artists and chamber music groups. For more than 25 years he was assisting his teacher S. Dorensky at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. In 2013 he also became professor in Boston University. He has given masterclasses in the USA, Japan, Korea, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia, Russia and has served as a jury member in many international piano competitions.
