The Art of Piano Duo: Vyacheslav Gryaznov and Rexa Han

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬

𝐕𝐲𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐯 𝐆𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐳𝐧𝐨𝐯 is a pianist of extraordinary mastery and artistry. The way he hears music and conveys it to the audiences is as captivating as it is unique.

Gryaznov is the author of the most masterful concert arrangements and transcriptions. His transcription works have been performed by many excellent pianists, ensembles and orchestras. They are heard in concert halls all over the world, and are chosen for prestigious international music contests like the Tchaikovsky Competition. In 2014 he signed a publishing contract with prestigious pubisher Schott Music (Germany). He is one of the few prominent composers published by them.

𝐑𝐞𝐱𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐧 has performed to wide acclaim throughout Europe, North America and Asia. As a child prodigy, she made her hometown debut at the age of five. During her teenage years, she won national competitions and played throughout China to enormous success. She attended the Central Conservatory in Beijing and was granted full scholarship to the Manhattan School of Music in the United States.

She performed in various prestigious concerts and venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Center, the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam Netherlands, Poly Theater in Beijing, and more.

Seating in the intimate and wheelchair-accessible First Church sanctuary is limited; listeners are encouraged to secure tickets in advance. Ample garage parking can be found, and there are multiple options for public transportation.

Gryaznov’s concert is presented by Sound Ways Inc., a Boston non-profit organization established in 2015 for the advancement of exceptional classical musicians who primarily come from the countries of the former Soviet Union.
